General Meeting
South Seneca Sportsmen's Club
21 Members present representing 11 clubs
Meeting called to order by Vice President Gary Chave at 7:30 pm.
Minutes:
Minutes reviewed. Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
Treasurer Report:
Mark White gave an extensive review of all accounts. Also, gave an overall view of Annual Banquet Accounts.
Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
Committee Reports:
Annual Banquet:
Banquet set for April 21, 2005. Banquet Booklets have been reviewed and will be picked up night of banquet. All banquet Chinese auction items will be auctioned off night of banquet. Summery of banquet will be presented at May meeting at Lodi Sportsmen's Club on May 17th.
Old Business:
Finger Lakes National Forest:
Finger Lakes National Forest in Hector has set their fishing at Potomac Ponds. Motion made to give another donation to them for their fishing day. Motion made to accept. Motion carried. Finger Lakes Conservation Club will again be camping on site to insure that the ponds stay stocked for the kids in the morning.
New Business:
Bass Pro Shops:
Bass Pro Shops is offering a trade in special. Trade in old poles for new. Jack Lowery will go over and talk with them and bring back information to the meeting for discussion.
US Sportsmen's Alliance:
Renewal notice for this organization. Motion made to renew membership. Motion carried.
Summer Camps:
Three clubs interested in sending kids to camp this summer.
South Seneca Youth Group:
The South Seneca Sportsmen's Club Youth Group asked for donation for their group to go Bull Head fishing. Motion made to give them a donation of $100.00. Motion carried.
Finger Lakes Conservation Club:
F.L Conservation Club is having their Annual Fishing Day in June. Alan White asked for a donation for their fishing day on Oak Island in Waterloo. Motion made to give them $100.00. Motion carried.
