General Meeting
Minutes:
Correction: February minutes showed that the license fee proposals were not documented correctly. CFAB will not keep track of the money that is saved by the General Fund.
Treasurer:
Treasurer John Andrews gave a detailed report on Checking, Savings, Banquet and Dues collected. Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
Correspondence:
Camp Good Days:
Tom Mitchell Sr. reported on Camp Good Days and Mercy Flights and asking for donation. Motion made to give them $50.00. Motion made to accept. 1 no vote. Motion carried.
Scholarship Program:
Scholarship paper work sent out to the following schools:
Mynderse Academy, Romulus Central, South Seneca High School, Waterloo High School and DeSales High School.
FL Conservation Club:
Ed Mitchell asked for a donation for their club for the Free Fishing Day at Oak Island Waterloo. They are limiting 150 kids this year. Motion made to give them $200.00, same as last year. Motion made to accept. Motion carried.
NYSCC:
Gary Chave reported on the NYSCC. License fee increase discussed. Reimbursement for meeting asked for. Motion made for reimbursement. Motion carried.
FWMB:
Discussion of Cross Bow legislation and Rifle Bill in Ontario County. Salt Water bill needs more legislation.
Report of 3 people bitten by Coyotes in Buffalo.
Report that Snow Geese numbers are on the rise and more hunters are needed.
Noted that fish kill numbers are up in ponds. This is due to the fluctuating cold weather.
DEC violations of court surcharge will be increased on fines are up $25.00 and as high as $75.00.
DEC will not be purchasing any new vehicles and vehicles that need repairs are being parked.
Empire Farm Days:
Raffle Tickets will be handed out soon and will be distributed to all clubs in the Federation.

Kuneytown Sportsmen’s Club: Bull Head Dinners on Friday Nights at 5 pm
Seneca County Sheriff Department is offering 3 separate Boating Safety Courses at the S.C. Law Enforcement Center on May 9th, June 13th and July 11th 2009. Classes are from 8 am to 4 pm. Classes are for children and adults. Children 14 and older can attend for Jet Ski classes. Please bring pencils and pack a lunch. Call 315-220-3443. Preregistration is required. There is no charge for these courses.
Canoga Springs Rod & Gun Club is having their 1st Annual Pickerel Tournament on May 31st. Launch is at 6 am at Dean’s Cove, Cayuga Lake. Weigh in is at 2 pm. Registration is at 5 am. Finger Lakes Conservation Club is having their 6th Annual Free Youth Fishing Derby on June 27th 2009 on Oak Island at Oak Street Waterloo. This is also Free Fishing Day in New York State. Limit is 150 children due to parking restrictions. All children must be preregistered by Wed. June 24th. Call Ed Mitchell at 315-374-3506.
Buckskin Bowmen Field Archery have a 3 D Shoot 1st Sunday of every month.
Next Meeting is May 19th at the Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club at 7 pm.
